Chitrawan Unique Cable TV Pvt. Ltd. popularly known as CUC is a company incorporated under Company Act of Nepal with its registered office at Bharatpur Metropolis-2, Kshetrapur, Chitwan. Today’s CUC is one of the oldest independent cable operators in the history of ground cable distribution of Nepal. It was established during 2053 in the name of the then Chitawan Unique Cable consolidating few cable operators in the areas through merger process. CUC is the first Independent Cable Operator (ICO) acquiring Digital Cable Television license from the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology for Chitawan District. CUC has spread its Digital Cable Television Service across all 6 Municipalities of Chitawan District. Besides that company has expanded its service to Gaindakot Municipality under Nawalparasi East. Company has five Branches and nine CUC Centers operational within its coverage areas for running the entire operation effectively and efficiently.

CUC has successfully migrated conventional analogue television to Digital environment in pursuant to the decision of the Government of Nepal under the road map of ITU. CUC is further consolidating and streamlining Digital Television service by expanding portfolio of services in the internet service business along with other value added services. CUC still holds primary market share in Digital Cable Television business backed by formidable market share in Internet Business Portfolio.
