Job Description
Job Description - Procurement Expert
- Must be well familiar with Incoterms for international trade and import/export
- Analyze the purchase request from the user departments and determine the appropriate method of procurement
- Inquiring for the products required with appropriate supplier
- Comparison of prices received from different suppliers
- Collections of important details of the supplier, such as the suppliers’ qualifications, delivery times, potential development and products
- Fixing terms and conditions of supply and negotiate the best deal for the company
- Arrange for samples, testing and evaluation of new products
- Advising for Purchase Order with the necessary documents
- Participate in specialized projects and assignments related to procurement, as required
- Contribute to the development and formulation of purchasing procedures and practices as required
- Perform other related duties as may be assigned
- Deal with local and overseas suppliers, process LC, quotation request
- Analyze cost, Web search for new suppliers and vendors
