Job Description - FMCG Category Manager

Reports to: CCO

Job Description:

• Plan overall FMCG category strategies and implement the plan
• Develop product pricing and positioning strategies
• Develop and implement short-term and long-term product strategies
• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and stakeholders in the FMCG category
• Negotiate with vendors to get the best deals in terms of both pricing and support
• Research and analysis to understand the catalog requirements for all sub-categories in detail for the FMCG category
• Conduct research to understand customer experience, identify and fill product gaps and generate new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience and drive growth in FMCG Category
• Work closely with the content team to ensure continuous and rapid onboarding of new vendors/products on to the platform
• Work closely with the marketing, content, tech and logistic teams to meet sales targets
• Responsible to drive topline and bottom-line business financial objectives
• Evaluate promotional plans
• Manage the FMCG category team in terms of Objectives, Key Results and Initiatives

Job Hours:  Monday to Friday – 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
