Job Description - Senior Software Engineer – Javascript (Node.js)

Build from scratch and maintain web applications using popular Node.js frameworks
Work with microservices written in a variety of languages, occasionally maintain them as well
Must be able to handle everything on the Web Application side- including client and the server-side Javascript, CSS integrations, etc.
Build basic visualizations on the web application using popular Javascript libraries. It will help a lot if you are inclined towards building data-centric applications
Follow strict coding standards and write efficient code with attention to detail
Work as a part of the team in planning, designing, and the development of the product, improvements, and new features
Be a part of something big and build world-class web applications
Communicate effectively and efficiently with the team to reach towards a common goal

Specification Detail
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent preferred, but we value expertise over a degree
- Three years or more of software development experience preferably in Nodejs or similar languages
- Not restricted to one programming language and is comfortable enough with other mainstream programming languages
- Experienced with the integration of third-party APIs and web services
- Comfortable working with all kinds of database, MYSQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB. We are a data company, and we deal with a LOT of data in the millions
- You hate doing things inefficiently and are always looking for ways to improve existing processes
- A team player with strong interpersonal skills, a collaborator who shares knowledge with the peers
- Three years or more of software development experience preferably in Nodejs or similar languages
