Job Description - iOS Developer
The main role of iOS developers is designing and building applications on the iOS platform. They work with teams of computer engineers, software developers, and other professionals to present design ideas with interactive prototypes, mockups, and wireframes. iOS developers write code to power these apps and must ensure that they are user friendly.
Job Responsibilities
- Design and build applications for the iOS platform
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
- Collaborate with a team to define, design, and ship new features
- Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
- Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization

Job Specification - iOS Developer

- Specification Detail
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
- 5+ years of software development experience
- 3+ years of experience with iOS, Objective-C, Cocoa
- Hands on experience with to HTML5, CSS, XML, API
- Coursework in Object-Oriented programming languages (C++/Java, etc)
- Must have experience in Mac OS platforms
- A passion for technology and the ability to learn new concepts quickly
- Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle
Skills
- Proficient with Objective-C or Swift {{depending on project requirements}}, and Cocoa Touch
- Experience with iOS frameworks
- Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services
- Knowledge of other web technologies and UI/UX standards
- Understanding of Apple’s design principles and interface guidelines
- Knowledge of low-level C-based libraries is preferred
- Experience with performance and memory tuning with tools {{such as Instruments and Shark, depending on project needs}}
- Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications
- Knack for benchmarking and optimization
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools {{such as Git, Mercurial or SVN}}
- Familiarity with continuous integration
