Job Description
Job Description - Hub Operator
- Receiving incoming shipments in the system following packaging guidelines
- Sort shipments on assigned cages/bins based on port code
- Ensure that damaged packages are not processed further and report to line manager
- Handover packages to different 3PLs along with proper paperwork of handover
- Stack items in designated areas in a manner that they are secure, and ensure that fragile items are carefully handled
- Ascertain that packed and labeled items are moved to the designated areas, and assist loaders in placing them onto awaiting vehicles
- Ensure data integrity and timeliness in the updating to package journey, ensure productivity benchmarks are achieved and activities are performed as per SOP
- Maintain a high standard of moral values at the workplace
