Job Description - Video Creator
Duration: 1 Year (with 3 months probation period)
Reports to: Executive Director
The video creator role involves creating short videos for our various outputs and social channels including YouTube, Instagram & Facebook. The goal is to boost our audiences online and digital engagement through storytelling and creative compelling video that speaks to animal welfare issues. This position involves development of creative concepts for story telling through photos and videos. The role would suit a digital native with experience in a fast-paced, creative environment, particularly those with a background in news or social media.
Position Responsibilities and Duties:
- Developing brand strategy and providing creative concepts and designs to the different campaigns and program activities
- Prepare (shoot and edit) photos and videos of organizational activities including daily animal rescue, treatment, recovery, events and so on
- Write and edit compelling and informative animal welfare video content for our social media channels
- Develop and maintain a digital database and storage of the organizational digital resources in coordination with Communication Officer
- Assist Communication Officer with the artistic input and design for print materials, video contents and social media contents
- Reediting existing video content in a variety of dimensions
- Other duties as instructed by supervisor

Job Specification - Video Creator
- Education : Bachelor
- Experience : 1 year
- Professional Skill : MS Office Suite, photo editing tools, audio editing tools, video editing tools and other graphics tools
- Specification Detail
- Bachelors’ degree in Mass communications, journalism, social sciences, management or related areas
- One-year relevant working experience
- S/he should have an experience-using camera and other related digital equipment
- S/he should have a experience using hardware and software part of photo editing tools, audio editing tools, video editing tools and other graphics tools
- S/he should possess basic skills of pre and post production stages of digital resources
- Priority will be given to candidates who demonstrate a high level of motivation and good communication, social, and interpersonal skills
- S/he must be well versed in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other reporting and communication tools
