Job Description - Sponsorship Officer

Job Overview:

Youth Creation for fullness of life is an NGO working in its own Sunsari District. Now the organization is going to introduce a new program entitled sponsorship & communication Project.”in Sunsari District for the year 2020/2021 with the support of Plan International Nepal field office Sunsari. Field officer will be responsible to implement all the activities provisioned for the Community level as suggested by field supervisor and as mentioned in its Proposal.

Reporting to: Sponsorship coordinator Plan field office 

Areas of main responsibilities:

• To induct and orient to program staff about sponsorship communication program
• To work to implement all the programs mentioned in the project in proposal effectively, efficiently and timely
• High commitment to maintain at least 95% KPI in every month resulting of submitting quality documents
• Review the quality of100% sponsorship communication items before submitting the documents with covering letters to Plan International in regular basis
• Make advance planning for production based on the schedule and submit SCI/SCI two month advances with quality and mobilizing field supervisors
• Coordinate with local networks of child-club, adolescents clubs, young women and other and prepare a small team representing the location of sponsored children and mobilize them during schedule communication of SCI/SCU
• Provide data and information for monthly/quarterly reports to Project Coordinator of Plan international Nepal  &
• Implement the sponsorship program activities as planning and prepare reports along with disaggregated data and impact of the activities
• Monitoring SCI/SCU production by supervisors and orient them about quality photos and information
• Follow and apply any other activities suggested by Plan International related to the sponsorship business and smooth communication between sponsors and SCs. Supervisor is fully responsible for production of schedule and non-schedule communication items of their assigned location
• Be well aware on the 10 Commitments of sponsorship and follow the rules closely
• Contact with SCs and their family and ensure their real participation communication production and sponsorship activities and planned events
• Mobilize the “Sponsorship Networks” for production of schedule communication-SCI/SCU and also support to other Supervisors during the schedule communication
• Inform and make aware the SCs/families/community people on sponsorship business, objective of taking interviews of SCs/family members and takes photographs every year and collect other documents from them
• Support to sponsor visit and arrangement visit as per guide line

Areas of additional responsibilities:

• Coordinating among the stakeholders and help to building good relation between the organization and the stakeholders
• Crate the different types of learning during the implementation of the program
• Support to mobilize child club, adolescent girls club to work against child marriage in community level
• Conduct review meeting with in the staff and stakeholders monthly and quarterly basis
• Prepare Cash flow and detail budget and support to finance officer to prepare finance report
